Sister Cecilia Corcoran, FSPA, Ph.D.
Sister Cecilia Corcoran, FSPA has a Ph.D. in Women’s Religious Studies and has particular skill in integrating outward experience with inward deepening. Before coming to the Christine Center more than eight years ago, Cecy co-facilitated international pilgrimages and immersion experiences in Latin America and Europe. That’s why she was delighted when offered the opportunity to explore Russia and the Baltics this past fall. Seeing the world from another’s perspective calls her to deeper appreciation and solidarity. She may be physically located at the Christine Center but her world view is broad and deep. She views the power of intention and the very act of breathing a way of being connected across the planet. She celebrates this by chanting together as a form of prayer.
