A retreat in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh
July 31 to August 5, 2022
$50 plus meals and lodging
The Mindfulness Community of Milwaukee is hosting a weeklong retreat at the Christine Center. They are a group in the Plum Village Tradition, founded by the Vietnamese master, Thich Nhat Hanh.
The Six Paramitas are skillful ways to live. The concept is to cross the river from one shore (suffering, samsara) to the opposite shore (wellbeing, nirvana).
As with our other retreats, there is meditation, dharma talks, breakout groups, dharma discussion, and a campfire.

Generous scholarships are available. Contact Paul for more information
The retreat will begin on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. and end after lunch on Friday
The presenters are all senior students in this tradition, including six members of the Order of Interbeing. There is ample opportunity for meditation, Dharma talks, and special presentations. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this is a wonderful way to deepen your practice with a supportive community in a sacred space. The tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh is one that supports spacious joy.
