Our minds naturally turn toward healing and health just like our bodies do when sick or injured. This program will help us learn to encourage the natural healing process, develop healthier ways to look at ourselves and the world we live in. By connecting to our noble heart we encourage the healing process. A healthy mind experiences happiness, inner peace, love and contentment. It will include talks, discussion, sitting, walking and guided meditation and meditation instruction.

About Lama Yeshe
Lama Tsultrim Yeshe (John Samuelson) has been a student of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, Abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, Woodstock, NY, since 1989. He completed the first traditional Tibetan three-year retreat held at Karme Ling (Delhi, NY), led by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche. Upon finishing the retreat in 1996, he received the title ‘Lama.’ He received monastic vows in 1994. Lama Yeshe is a retired prison chaplain and also taught Sociology at the university level. He lives in Wisconsin, where he is the director of the Hay River KTC meditation center, and teaches at Dharma centers throughout North America. He is especially known for workshops in which participants use Tibetan Buddhist practices to explore the nature of forgiveness and to learn how to heal old wounds. He guides participants with an approachable and open style.
