βIt is not your duty to finish the work, but neither are you at liberty to neglect it.β -Rabbi Tarfon, Pirke Avot 2:16
But what is my work? So many of us are weary and bewildered, knowing that the world is at a crossroads and wondering whether we can make any kind of difference.
It may be that each of us is called more urgently than ever to do something that only we can do, and something inside us already knows what that is. If we can only hear it.
In Listening and Discernment Groups, we give and receive support to listen to our hearts. In the process we are affirmed, nourished, and strengthened for our purpose in the world. It is a process that brings clarity and peace. Listening and Discernment Groups are based on group spiritual direction and Circles of Trust.
Over 6 sessions, our facilitator will guide a small group (limited to 6 members) to listen deeply to ourselves and our companions, asking open-ended questions and allowing answers to arise from a combination of intuition and intellect, invited with poetry and silence.
We will listen to discover what our souls are calling us to do now.
