The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
A retreat in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh
June 11-16, 2023
$50 plus meals and lodging (Scholarships are available)
The Mindfulness Community of Milwaukee presents its annual summer retreat in the Plum Village Tradition. This years’ theme is the Four Foundations of Mindfulness.
Our retreat will include time for reflection, talks, breakout groups, Dharma discussion, and a significant amount of silence including silent meals, silence on campus overnight, and silent meditation sessions. Weather permitting, we will have a campfire one evening.
The presenters are all senior students in this tradition, including six members of the Order of Interbeing. There is ample opportunity for meditation, Dharma talks, and special presentations. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this is a wonderful way to deepen your practice with a supportive community in a sacred space. The tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh is one that supports spacious joy.
