A county wide celebration of local artists
The Christine Center is delighted to once again Participate in the
Annual Clark County Spring Into the Arts Tour
Friday April 28th through Sunday April 30th
Transforming all gathering spaces into intriguing galleries, the Christine Center is hosting seven artists – creative makers of intuitive icons, vibrant paintings, multi-media expressions, magnificent metalwork, compelling photography, and artful pottery. A festival of the transcendent and the everyday – each artist celebrates luminosity, shape, line, and the odd bit of whimsy and play.
Visit our superbly curated spiritual bookstore and serene chapel. Experience a singing bowl sound-bath and add your spontaneous brushstrokes to our annual art tour mural. Taste cookies baked from an authentic 12th century recipe and sample lovely teas. Just for the joy of it, we conclude each day with lively, invigorating drumming.

Our Featured Artists:

Saints Alive!
Gabriele is showing large scale intuitive “icon” paintings inspired by medieval paintings of the saints. Each image is a vibrant contemporary inspiration ranging from St. Francis to Archangels! I use multiple media for soul-expression and have over 20 years’ experience in offering creativity coaching and contemplative art-making workshops. Embellished fine art prints and cards will be available as well as a collection of original “contemplation cords” (beadwork for meditation and blessing gifts). A live, intuitive painting demonstration will be offered.

Capturing the Light of Presence
Photography for me, is a way to make contact with the beauty and power of the present moment. As I relax into the immediacy of a more open awareness, “ordinary” experience gives way to a sense of wholeness and mystery, and the world begins to “light up”. This brings a sense of wonder, where the patterns and beauty inherent in the world can be directly felt and seen. The camera records the moment and the computer helps clarify it. The images on display are all made on, or very close to the Christine Center property. Prints and Cards available.

The Magic Mystery of Clay!
Enjoy functional pottery, sculptures, and garden art, all created with high fire stoneware and individually glazed with multiple layers to create movement and flow. Each piece is heartfelt, individually created, and arises from this present moment of creativity. With more than 20 years of expressing creativity through clay, I was chosen as the lead artist for the 4’ x 14’ ceramic tribute wall installed at the Marshfield Library. Fusing and slumping glass is a newer endeavor. I also create commemorative plates. Original pieces of various sizes available for sale.

Sensing from the Soul
I am inspired by nature; be it atmosphere, light, weather, bold color, seasons, landscapes, and breathtaking sights. I thoroughly enjoy sensing and interpreting perspectives and ideas through painting, color, mark-making, glazes, and contrasts. My collection for this show is entitled “Sensing from the Soul”. I will be selling original artwork and I will also have cards, mugs, and tote bags available for sale. Prints of any piece will be available through my website.

Super, natural, inspiration!
Mandalas, paintings, and mixed media art inspired by nature, intuition, and soul. My paintings are created with as much freedom from ego as possible, allowing the color, image, shape to come through authentically and intuitively. The images express my love of nature, and inspiration comes come from my meditation and contemplative practice. Each original mandala is multi-media. Shown in various Minnesota venues, my intuitive paintings are unique and compelling creative soul expressions. They are also available as fine art prints, magnets and cards.

Henry Eisenhauer
Sculpture from the Heart!
Henry creates sculptures that express the inspiration of nature, spirit and heart. Drawing inspiration from a deep inner prompting, Henry’s creations combine geometric and organic forms to create inspiring compositions. He often uses found materials sourced in an industrial setting, giving scraps new life. His techniques, informed by years of professional experience in metal work, include plasma cutting, welding, and a variety of manual and machine treatments. He often torches the surface of the sculpture to add texture and color. His many metal-work sculptures, large and small, have made the Christine Center an informal sculpture park! Original sculptures in many sizes available for purchase.
