Join with Ron as we journey into a deeper meaning and state of healing, beyond our normal state of consciousness, beyond the body physical, yet not separate. Accessible to all. In the words of Haven Trevino, our primary guide for this weekend: “Beneath our shells of pain and darkness lives a light that transcends description, and all it takes to reunite us is our intention to do so. This light, or love, is who we truly are, and true healing is remembering this simple truth.”
What if instead of searching for a path to healing we could immerse ourselves in the state, the consciousness of being that is, in a deeply profound and mindful way, fully healed. Present, felt, experienced, known. Together, in our exploring, in our sharing, in our discourse, in our relating, we can.
We will approach this way of being through readings, spiritual exercises, discussions, small group sharing, contemplation and meditation. We will flow into a place of surrender, of allowing, of simply being. For the Healed State is always present, always patiently waiting, always accessible.
Our primary guide for this encounter is the revered little book of life first written down some 2,500 years ago in ancient China, The Tao Te Ching. In particular we will be guided by the extraordinary version of Haven Trevino’s The Tao of Healing. He brought forth his translation as he was living with, and in the final stages of, ALS. It has been a treasured resource and inspiration of mine for many years. It will be supplemented and supported by The Tao of Inner Peace by Diane Dreher, a long time healer, therapist, scholar and author. Both books are available in paperback and eBooks
In his lovingly written introduction to The Tao of Healing, Dr. Gerald Jampolsky, founder of The Center for Attitudinal Healing and who personally knew Haven Trevino, states: “….reading Trevino’s inspired translation of The Tao is like listening to the heart of the universe sing an ancient melody of truth and wisdom. – It is about going inside, healing ourselves, and being of service to others. It is about giving and receiving, Loving and forgiving, and simply being. It is not about analyzing and judging ourselves or others, but instead helps us to let our spirit soar beyond any self-imposed limits.”
In Haven Trevino’ own words:
Returning to Wholeness is the natural way;
Allow, allow, allow.
The choice to Love
Is the Mother of Everything.
There are no exceptions.
