Karen Hering is author of Writing to Wake the Soul: Opening the Sacred Conversation Within, named one of the best spiritual books of 2013 and a Silver Nautilus Award winner, honoring “literary contributions to spiritual growth, conscious living, … responsible leadership and positive social change.” Karen serves as consulting literary minister at Unity Church-Unitarian in St. Paul, Minnesota and leads programs near and far, engaging writing as a spiritual practice and a tool for healing and social action. Her new book, Living in the Between: a thresholder’s guide to personal and global change will be released later this year.
