With Kristin *Manjula* Hilt
July 21-24, 2022 (Thursday through Sunday)
$225 plus meals and lodging
One of the many values of a regular yoga practice is the opportunity to see ourselves more clearly. When we have self awareness, things like acceptance, life decisions, and personal growth come about much more easily. In this retreat, we will use asana (postures), yamas and nyamas (ethical practices), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and writing for introspection.
Whether you’re simply taking a break to slow down, painting broad brush strokes, or digging in deep with inquiry, this is a great time to check in with yourself. We will have a morning practice to include movement, breathwork, and meditation. After breakfast, we will discuss yoga philosophy topics and you will be offered a writing prompt. Throughout the day, enjoy the environment, hiking trails, quiet, or company and meet back after dinner for an evening yin yoga relaxation practice with crystal bowl sound healing and meditation.
*Thursday evening we will meet for introductions and retreat overview. You are welcome to join Friday if your schedule necessitates.
Kristen *Manjula* Hilt
Kristin has practiced yoga for 23 years and taught for the last 7. She studied with Baba Hari Dass and his senior students in the Santa Cruz mountains of California during a year long residential program. Her studies in philosophy, therapeutic bodywork, and holistic wellness guide her approach to teaching. Her philosophy rich classes are welcoming to all levels of practice and focus on breath, awareness, and insight. When not on the mat, she’s practicing the yoga of parenting a toddler, spending time in nature, and dreaming up more ways to stay connected.
