Directions and Transportation
The Christine Center is located in central Wisconsin between Eau Claire and Marshfield, approximately 2½ hours from Minneapolis and Madison, 4 hours from Milwaukee, and 5 hours from Chicago.
Before You Travel:
Cell phone service is limited as you approach the Christine Center, so we recommend downloading or printing your directions in advance. Before you leave, please check 511 Wisconsin for current road construction, closures, weather alerts, and travel conditions.
Please drive with extra care in the surrounding rural area, where deer and other wildlife frequently cross the road.
Driving Directions
From the Northwest (Twin Cities)
Take I-94 East to Osseo, Exit 88. Turn left onto Hwy 10 and continue about 15 miles. Turn left onto County I and continue about 15 miles to County G*. Turn left onto County G and go 1 mile. Turn left onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
*There are two County G roads. Pass the first County G off Hwy 10 in Eau Claire County. Stay on County I for nearly 15 miles before turning onto County G in Clark County.
Alternate route: Take I-94 East past Menomonie toward Elk Mound. Take Exit 52 to Hwy 12 E/Hwy 29 E, then continue east on Hwy 29 to Thorp. Take Exit 108 onto County Hwy M and go about 15 miles. Turn left onto County Hwy GG for 4 miles, then right onto County G for 3 miles. Turn right onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
From the Northeast (Green Bay, Marinette, Upper Michigan)
Take Hwy 29 West to Hwy 73 South, Exit 118. Turn left onto Hwy 73 and continue to Greenwood. Turn right onto County G. After 3 miles, turn left to stay on County G. After 1 mile, turn right to stay on County G and continue through Willard. About 2½ miles past Willard, turn right onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
From the Southeast (Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago)
Take I-94 West to Black River Falls, Exit 115. Turn right onto Hwy 12/27 and continue about 22 miles to Hwy 10. Turn right onto Hwy 10, then immediately left onto County I. Continue about 15 miles to County G. Turn left onto County G and go 1 mile. Turn left onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
From the East (Appleton)
Take Hwy 10 West to the roundabout south of Marshfield. Take the second exit onto County Hwy BB and continue 2 miles. Turn right onto County Hwy B for 2 miles, then left onto County Hwy H. Cross Hwy 73 and continue west. County Hwy H will merge with County G. Continue west on County G to the stop sign at County I, then turn right to continue on County G. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
From the Southwest (La Crosse)
Take I-90 East to Sparta, Exit 25. Turn left onto Hwy 27 and continue through Black River Falls, where Hwys 12 and 27 merge. Continue about 22 miles to Hwy 10. Turn right onto Hwy 10, then immediately left onto County I. Continue about 15 miles to County G. Turn left and go 1 mile. Turn left onto Mann Road at the Christine Center sign and continue about ½ mile. At the end of the road, follow the curve to the left and continue uphill to the main building.
Air Travel
Most guests who fly to the Christine Center arrive at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and rent a car for the drive to the Center. MSP is about 2½–3 hours away and generally offers the widest range of commercial flight options.

- Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA): About 1½ hours by car.
- Marshfield Municipal Airport (MFI): About 40 minutes by car — primarily serves private and charter flights.
Public transportation to the Christine Center is limited, so most guests flying in plan to rent a car. See the Public Transportation section below for more information.
Public Transportation
Public transportation is limited in our area. Some guests travel by Greyhound or Megabus to Eau Claire, WI, and then continue to the Christine Center by taxi, rideshare, or rental car.
Uber and Lyft rides to the Christine Center from nearby cities like Eau Claire or Marshfield may be available. However, scheduling a return ride from the Center can be unreliable due to our rural location. Taxis or private car services may also be an option, though these can be more expensive.
Renting a car is often the most reliable choice and provides the greatest flexibility during your visit.
