Meals to Nourish Body and Soul

Experiences of the Senses and the Soul

Buffet-style vegetarian meals at the Christine Center are homemade with fresh, natural whole foods, and grown locally when available.

You’re invited to join the community in mealtime conversations. If you would prefer your meals in solitude, two hallways with lots of sunlight extend from the dining room with small tables. In warm weather, there are tables on the patio.

You are welcome to join us for our home-cooked meals or stay in a modern hermitage with a furnished kitchen and bring your own food, or do some of both.

This weekend was profound, yet fun. My spirits soar, yet I am grounded. The atmosphere is serene. I am rested. The excellent food from a loving staff . . . this is soul nourishing.

Our Philosophy of Food

We emphasize natural foods and meals made from scratch. Many of the vegetables, fruits, breads, honey, maple syrup, and eggs served are from local farmers.

Our cooks bring unique creativity and style. The food on our tables has a sense of inner spiritual nourishment in harmony with the land.
