Sacred Seasons
Community Holiday Retreats at the Christine Center
We are heartened and excited to offer a special invitation to join our community holiday gatherings, held throughout the year.
Holidays often bring a yearning to connect and celebrate together. Join us at the Christine Center for our community holiday retreats where every aspect of your being is welcome. Whether you bring joy, sorrow, energy, or tranquility, this is a sanctuary where all are embraced. We laugh, cry, pray, sing, and share meals in a setting that fosters deep connection and genuine celebration. We meditate together, celebrate together, have cozy gatherings around the fire, traditional meals, community connection, and time for solitude.
Each seasonal retreat offers its own unique rhythm. Some retreats provide space for private, community-based time with minimal facilitation, while others weave in guided practices such as meditation, sound bath, or ritual. Whether you come seeking companionship around the fire or solitude on the forest trails, these retreats create a peaceful container for honoring the season in a way that feels true to you.
We encourage you to co-create these moments with us!
Tell us what makes these times special for you or bring a practice to share with the community.

2026 – 2027 Retreats
Easter: Inner Experience of Renewal
April 2-5, 2026
Easter is not only a story we remember. It is a movement within us.
During these days of Holy Week, we will enter the quiet arc from letting go to new life. Through guided meditation, contemplative prayer, and shared reflection, we will walk gently with the themes of surrender, trust, and rising. The Easter story becomes a mirror—revealing where something in us is ready to soften, to open, to begin again.
This retreat offers spacious time to listen beneath the noise and notice what is stirring in your own heart. What in you is seeking renewal? What longs to be restored?
Come away for these sacred days. Let the mystery of resurrection unfold not only as belief, but as lived experience.

Fourth of July Retreat: Freedom and Interdependence
July 3-5, 2026
On the Fourth of July, we celebrate freedom. Yet freedom is never lived alone. It is shaped by relationship, sustained by community, and strengthened through our care for one another.
This retreat invites a deeper reflection on what it means to belong to one another. Through contemplative practice, shared dialogue, and time in nature, we will explore the balance between personal liberty and our call to mutual responsibility.
As we gather during this national holiday, we will consider how true independence flowers within interdependence—how our lives are woven together, and how the well-being of one is bound to the well-being of all.
Come away for a spacious and grounded Fourth of July. Let this be a time to renew your commitment not only to freedom, but to the shared life that makes freedom possible.

Memorial Day Reflection and Remembrance
May 22–25, 2026
On Memorial Day, we pause as a nation to remember those who gave their lives in service. It is also a tender invitation to honor all whom we have loved and lost—those whose presence shaped us and whose memory we carry forward.
We will speak names, share stories, and sit quietly with both gratitude and grief, spending time outdoors and allowing the steadiness of the land to hold us.
Together, we will create a nature mandala near the large fire ring and gather for a peace and remembrance ritual around the fire—holding silence, prayer, and reflection for those lost to war and violence, and renewing our commitment to peace.
You are invited to come as you are, carrying who you carry. Let this day of remembrance become a living act of love—and a quiet turning of the heart toward peace.

New Year’s Winter in the Woods
December 28, 2026 – January 1, 2027
Crossing the Threshold
As the year draws to a close, we invite you into a sacred pause—a few quiet days to step back, take stock, and listen deeply.
Together, we will reflect on what this year has asked of you and what it has given. Through simple ritual and shared silence, we will release what is complete and make room for what is ready to emerge. In community, we will turn gently toward the horizon, shaping intentions rooted in clarity and truth.
This retreat offers unhurried space for contemplation, meaningful connection, and steady preparation for the year ahead.
What are you ready to lay down? What is waiting to begin?
