A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity:  13-Week Course with The Artist’s Way

Sundays from 6:30 – 8:00pm CST
Starting January 5th

Facilitated by: Robin Richards, MA, Eds, RMT

There is an artist that lives inside of you, just waiting to be unlocked and empowered. This online, 13-week program follows the 12-week course outlined in Julia Cameron’s ‘The Artist’s Way’ to support you in rediscovering your innate nature of creativity. Whether you are new to this transformative journey or seeking to reignite this powerful framework for living with authenticity and vulnerability, this program offers a gentle, nurturing space of compassion, contemplation and creative expression.

Each week in this online program, we will gather for 90 minutes in community, as we work to reveal, or rather remember, that art is truly a spiritual transaction that takes so many forms. Your creative potential – whether in art, work, or life, will flow as you begin to release the blocks that are hindering your creative expression, allowing you to overcome fears around trying new things.

During each week’s 90 minute session, we will create a connected container that serves as a virtual retreat from the ease of access of whatever location you can join our Zoom room. Each meeting will begin include a meditation, a guided time for contemplation and reflection on the weekly content as delivered in ‘The Artist’s Way’ to inspire the deepening of spiritual connection and creative expression.’

We will meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm CST, starting January 5th and going through March 30th, 2025.

For this program, you will need to purchase a copy of Julia Cameron’s ‘The Artist’s Way’, and a journal or notebook dedicated to the practice of ‘Morning Pages’.

Emerging from early challenges of tragedy and trauma, Robin holds a deep commitment to holistic healing and living intentionally with a focus on lifelong wellness. With a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Specialist degree, she has served as a teacher, school board member, consultant, and leader in various educational settings.

Robin’s professional path took a transformative turn when health setbacks prompted her to explore the deeper connections between energy, well-being, and holistic practices. This journey led her to multiple wellness certifications, including nutrition coaching, meditation, mindfulness, mindful eating, yoga, and the deep work and practice of becoming Karuna Reiki Master Teacher through the International Center for Reiki Training.

Robin lives in a suburb of the Twin Cities with her husband who loves to garden and 9-year-old daughter who loves to sing. Robin’s daughter is the light of her life, and keeps her accountable in the application of her spiritual practices and holistic health.

The unfolding of Robin’s transformation continues to be in stride with her dedication and emerging roles at the Christine Center. With a heart of service, Robin joined the Center’s board which then led to what she describes as a “divine unfolding’ of a role on staff as Marketing Coordinator and Facilitator. Her work at the Center reflects her ongoing dedication to creating spaces for transformation and connection.
