Group Spiritual Direction
Facilitated by Rev. Sheryl Lundes Stowman
Last Wednesday of the month
January through May, from 9:30-11:30am via Zoom
Group Spiritual Direction offers a confidential and safe space to explore your spirituality and journey, with the facilitation of an experienced Spiritual Director. Through listening, guidance and engagement each participant can come closer to their own experience of the divine, their faith and how they are living that out in their daily lives. The focus is on reflective conversation, where you can be enriched by engaging in diverse perspectives and shared wisdom, enhancing your own journey. The group offers a unique blend of individual reflection with communal support, creating a holistic and supportive holding for spiritual exploration.
Each session will include an opening centering practice, such as meditation, guided imagery, prayer, or other spiritual practices. There will be a topical theme, which provides a springboard for each session. You are welcome to bring all of your experience, questions, doubts, challenges and loves to this exploration!
The group will have the option to continue on a monthly basis after the series concludes.
Explore topics such as:
Beginning with Beloved

Discovering Your Inner Truth

Each session includes:

Sheryl Lyndes Stowman, M. Div., she/her
Rev. Sheryl Lyndes Stowman has had a lifelong love of the mysterious and creative Presence we often call the Divine or True Nature. This brought her early in life into the Christian ministry and following a Christian contemplative path. She spent 33 years as a Clinical Pastoral Educator guiding ministers, religious leaders, chaplains and educators in personal and professional development. This is where she delved deeply into psychological understandings of personality and spiritual development. She also trained in spiritual guidance from an eco-feminist perspective. Drawn to the wisdom and integration of Diamond Approach 18 years ago, she has been an active student and currently is an ordained teacher-minister in the Midwest region of the US.
