Disturbance as Teacher: A Path to Self-Discovery
Skills for Self-Discovery When Others Disturb You
April 10-12, 2026
with Roberta Hanus
When someone unsettles you, it can feel uncomfortable, even confusing. Yet those moments often carry something important. This experiential workshop invites you to gently explore the relationship patterns and reactions that shape your life, drawing from Buddhist & Taoist ideas, shamanic practices and Jungian perspective.
Together, we will reflect on the situations that disturb you and approach them with curiosity & respect, rather than judgment. As you begin to understand your reactions in a new way, you may discover strengths, perspectives, and parts of yourself that have been waiting to be recognized — qualities that support greater compassion, clarity, understanding and well-being.
Program Highlights:
- Insights from Jungian psychology, shamanic practices, dreamwork, and spiritual traditions
- Tools for understanding emotional triggers and relationship patterns
- Guided self-reflection and interactive exercises
- Practices for integrating new strengths into daily life
- Skills to navigate relationships with greater awareness and resilience
