Finding Peace in Times of Fear and Anxiety
June 26-28, 2026
Facilitated by Yanchy Lacska
We are living in a time that brings fear, uncertainty, and anxiety for many. Alongside the wider unrest in our world, many people are also carrying personal burdens that feel stressful, painful, or overwhelming. In the midst of all this, it is still possible to find inner steadiness, peace, and renewal.
This retreat offers a gentle and practical space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the deeper ground within. Drawing from spiritual traditions, ancient and contemporary wisdom, and simple psychological practices, the weekend will invite you into ways of meeting fear and anxiety with greater calm, presence, and trust.
Together, we will explore practices that support relaxation, inner peace, and healing in body, mind, and spirit. These will include meditation, simple chanting from the Ancient Jewish and Celtic Christian traditions, qigong exercises, quiet time in the healing presence of the natural world, and space for reflection and shared wisdom within the group.
The weekend will close with a holy communion and healing ceremony.

“I was inspired to develop this retreat by writing my book, Finding the Way – The Life of a Seeker, and my love of helping people to explore and deepen their spirituality and purpose. The belief that is at the heart of the retreat is that we are all on a journey that will hopefully lead to what C.G. Jung called Individuation, Abraham Maslow called Self-Actualization or Self-Transcendence, and what Eastern Christianity calls theosis (union with the divine).”
