Explore the profound and transformative world of mysticism through the lens of six major world religions: Hinduism, Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. This program offers an introduction to the meaning of mysticism, dispels common myths, and delves into the mystical practices of Hinduism & Yoga, Kabbalah, Mystical Taoism, Zen Buddhism, Christian Mysticism, and Sufism.
Participants will discover the common threads that unite these traditions, gain insight into them and experience various forms of meditation and gentle physical practices to prepare the body for stillness. Whether you are a seasoned spiritual seeker or just beginning your journey, this program offers an invitation to deepen your relationship with the Divine and yourself, while discovering practices that resonate with your unique path.
This program offers deepening aspects through the personal experiences that are supported through meditation, contemplation, exercises, discussions and connections made with others. You will be held in a safe space as you journey to wholeness/holiness in the beatuiful, healing setting of the Christine Center.

Louise Cardarella
Louise Cardarella has been dedicated to the study and teaching of mysticism for over two decades. Ordained as a Mystical Christian priest in 2004, Louise has taught courses on Mysticism, and the Mystical Christian Path. She provides spiritual companioning to individuals seeking a deeper relationship to the Divine within. She is initiated in Kriya Yoga and has been a student of Hindu traditions and sacred texts since 1995.
Her journey includes studying Taoism with Ron Moor through the Christine Center, engaging deeply with Buddhist teachings through the Mindfulness Community of Milwaukee (in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh), and exploring the wisdom of Kabbalah and Sufi traditions. Louise holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Community Counseling and currently teaches Hatha Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices.
With warmth and insight, Louise creates a welcoming space for seekers to explore mysticism, and experience the transformative power of stillness, mindfulness, meditation, contemplation, and prayer as practiced in the various world religions.
