MOVE IN YOUR HEART’S PASSION: Seasonal Qigong Practice to Support the Fire Element

with Sandra Mighell

July 17-19, 2026

What does it mean to live from the wisdom of the heart while staying grounded, balanced, and well? In this nourishing weekend retreat, we’ll explore the Fire Element through the lens of Chinese medicine and Qigong practice, learning how to cultivate joy, connection, courage, and vitality without tipping into restlessness, burnout, or overwhelm. Set within the energy of the Fire Horse year, this program invites us to work skillfully with the intensity of fire so it becomes a source of warmth, clarity, and aligned movement in our lives.

Guided by veteran Qigong practitioner Sandra Mighell, the weekend offers a spacious rhythm of movement, rest, reflection, and community. Through Taoist principles, Heart-centered Qigong practices, meditation, discussion, and shared experience, participants will learn to sense when they are in alignment with shen – spirit – and how to gently return to balance when life feels too activated. This is a retreat for anyone longing to move with more ease, listen more deeply to the heart, and step into the year with greater presence and joy.

Sandra brings 27 years of movement and somatic experience to her work. Having studied with a range of Qigong and movement teachers, she most relishes being present in the moment and exploring alongside her students as both guide and fellow student.
