Natural Spirituality: Finding the Divine in the World Around Us and Within Us
September 11-13, 2026
Facilitated by Yanchy Lacska
Ninth-century Celtic Christian teacher John Scotus Eriugena taught that the creation story in Genesis is not a historical account of the making of the earth, but rather a meditation on the ever-present mystery of creation.
Come explore that mystery by discovering the Divine in the natural world and within your own life. Through the wisdom of Celtic Christianity, Taoist nature-based energy practices, and Carl Jung’s understanding of archetypal divine energies in nature, this retreat invites you into a deeper relationship with creation as a living expression of the sacred.
Together, we will reflect, pray, move, and spend time in nature, allowing the rhythms of the natural world to become a doorway to contemplation, renewal, and spiritual awakening. Whether you are seeking a deeper connection with God, a fresh perspective on creation, or simply time to slow down and listen, this retreat offers space to encounter the sacred in both the world around you and within yourself.
