As Director you will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the retreat center operations – what experiences and training has prepared you for this?

This administrative position has a particular focus at this time in our organization for financial management; generating revenues through fundraising, programming, and marketing; along with staff development What are your most outstanding accomplishments in areas?

We are in the process of shifting to a collaborative leadership model, referred to as the “Core Team” with the Director level of key accountability. . . what is your understanding of this model, and how are you equipped to support this major transition in our operation?

Interpersonal communication skills in terms of written and verbal abilities, commitment to interactions that develop and support staff and volunteers, along with diplomacy and problem solving are pivotal to the success of the Director – how have you demonstrated your abilities in these areas?

With the staff covering various functions, there are occasional demands for Director flexibility in supporting various tasks that emerge “in the moment” (for example - greeting guests, giving tours, interactions with presenters, serving as the emergency contact).
