Make a Joyful Noise

A weekend of Sacred Chant and Meditation

November 22 – 24, 2024
With Kaita Bliffert, Fred Bliffert and Ron Moor

Join us for a weekend of sacred chant and meditation that nurtures a deep connection with Source through the tradition of Bhakti Yoga. Through call-and-response chanting, silent meditation, and sonic journeys, we will explore healing vibrations and spiritual expansion. Together, we will chant in Sanskrit and English, learn the powerful meaning behind these chants, experience the meditative state of unitive consciousness, and bless our time together with the Heart Sutra Chant and meditation.

I am so grateful for the welcoming spirit of everyone at the Center, the quiet honoring of time spent both together and alone. It was such a gift.

On the Cusp of Change: Widening What We Trust

December 10, 2024, 7-8:00 pm
with Karen Hering

“In our thresholding, not only does our current identity include the years we have already lived through; it also includes the future we are living toward. Just as the acorn carries within it all the potential—crown and roots and trunk—of a large oak tree to come, so too, our own future growth is folded within us. Being fully in the present moment, we can find strength in expanding our wholeness to include past and future, roots and crown and seed together, in an ever-growing identity reaching toward the light.” (From Trusting Change, by Karen Hering).
