The Tao of One Another

August 12 – 15, 2024, Monday-Thursday

With Ron Moor

Early registration price is available through July 31!

Tao is the 2,500 year old ancient Chinese term for the mysterious origin and animating principle of everything, from ideas to feelings to thoughts to language to music to all materiality. Every. Thing. The word itself simply means “way”.

It comes to us as a little book entitled The Tao Te Ching – the Way of Integrity Book. Its 81 short, pithy, poetic verses offer timeless principles of living that bring us into harmony with all of creation. Its increasing popularity in our troubled time offers a ray of hope for our present and our future.

With the Tao as our guide, we will explore our relationship with all things, including our inner selves, each other, nature, language, art, indeed with all of existence. This will be a time of deep yet gentle exploration, highly experiential. Tao is calling us to evolve our ways of perceiving and relating.

We meet Monday evening August 12 to Thursday noon the 15th, giving us time to shake off some of our conditioned thinking and perceiving. To be more open to what is emerging from Tao. To immerse ourselves in the silence, to sojourn in the woods, to dialog with one other, to drink deeply from Source.

On Wednesday evening we will join in ceremony and celebration. Consider bringing a favorite nature poem or Tao verse, perhaps a favorite snack or libation. Maybe even a musical instrument.

Tao is calling us to a more abundant, inter-related way of living. Let us be companions along the Way. Are you ready?

It is the most lovable of all the great religious texts, funny, keen, kind, modest, indestructibly outrageous, and inexhaustibly refreshing. Of all the deep springs, this is the purest water. To me, it is also the deepest spring.
