Full Moon Meditation: Flower Moon
May 12, 2025 at 6:30pm
Offered at no cost; come meditate with us!
FULL MOON is in Constellation SCORPIO. Its energies are turbulent, reveal difficult truths, and call for reckoning with reality. Many cultures refer to May’s full moon as the flower moon thanks to the abundant blooming that occurs as spring gets going properly. Other names include the hare moon, the corn planting moon, and the milk moon.
Seed-thought: Who I am is not what I believe about myself, or who I have made myself to be. In the waning of who I think I am, Soul can shine. In forgetting “me,” I remember who I am.

This work of remembering, grieving and celebrating is national soul-work of the deepest sort. It asks us to hold with great compassion and gentleness the breaking in our hearts that comes from bearing absence and grief, and the difficulty of living in an imperfect and sometimes unjust world. This weekend is also a time to bless any others gone before us that are asking for our heart’s attention. Together in conversation, personal ritual and ceremony circles , we’ll explore themes of life, loss, and legacy. Let’s let the natural world teach us the wisdom we need to face honorably and open-heartedly, the great cycle of life. We’ll breathe together, bless together, and together tend our collective homeland Soul.

Roots, Joy, and Defiance Retreat
July 18-20, 2025
with Peggy Rowe Ward, Kristin Johnstad and Marcus Young 楊墨
Join us as we deepen and embody beloved community through the shared practice of mindful breathing, eating, resting, moving and celebrating joy in being together. Thich Nhat Hanh said that in times of turmoil and conflict, we attend to deepening our spiritual roots. The four roots we will introduce and explore are body, blood, land and spiritual ancestors. Our personal and collective grounding, stabilizing of our nervous systems, and the ability to come home to our body and mind are the anchors we need to strengthen in these times of great turmoil. Self-regulation is a prerequisite to co regulation and co imagination. Our solidity and togetherness is an act of spiritual defiance.
