A Summer of Spiritual Deepening: Reclaiming Hope & Joy

Wednesdays, beginning June 4th (5 weeks)
10am-11:30am Central

In a time when many are weary or spiritually restless, this summer series offers more than a space to read—it offers a space to reconnect. This is not a typical book club. It is a spiritual book study, grounded in sacred ritual, meaningful reflection, and shared intention. It is a space to be nourished by spiritual wisdom and transformed by collective presence.

Over the course of five weeks, we will journey through Hope, Pope Francis’ moving autobiographical work that blends his personal story with over 100 years of global history, spiritual insight, and contemplative guidance. He shares how his family, community, and experiences shaped his faith and how we, too, can reclaim hope—especially when we face discouragement or uncertainty.

Full Moon Meditation: Buck Moon

July 10, 2025 at 6:30pm

Offered at no cost; come meditate with us!

FULL MOON is in Constellation CAPRICORN. Its energies promote hard work and discipline. It is time to give attention to routine and to follow through on promises. Male deer, which shed their antlers every year, begin to regrow them in July, hence the Native American name for July’s full moon. Some refer to this moon as the thunder moon, due to the summer storms in this month. Other names include the hay moon, after the July hay harvest.

Seed-thought: “Welcome”, I say, to all beings and blessings I offer. Soul-light shines forth without exception.

July 18-20, 2025
with Peggy Rowe Ward, Kristin Johnstad and Marcus Young 楊墨

Join us as we deepen and embody beloved community through the shared practice of mindful breathing, eating, resting, moving and celebrating joy in being together. Thich Nhat Hanh said that in times of turmoil and conflict, we attend to deepening our spiritual roots. The four roots we will introduce and explore are body, blood, land and spiritual ancestors. Our personal and collective grounding, stabilizing of our nervous systems, and the ability to come home to our body and mind are the anchors we need to strengthen in these times of great turmoil. Self-regulation is a prerequisite to co regulation and co imagination. Our solidity and togetherness is an act of spiritual defiance.
